PROJECT: Hip hop for Guatemala

Beschrijving:
Provide a safe space for rural Guatemalan youth to practice the four elements of hiphop, giving them the opportunity to develop a meaningful connection to both the hiphop movement and each other.
Geld nodig voor:
Transportation costs to remote regions of Guatemala, funds for food and water from facilitators and workshop participants and materials (spray paint and caps,etc.).

I work in the research and program evaluation for the Municipality of Amsterdam. And am the secretary of the Dutch partner organization of ‘Amigos de Trasciende.’ In April 2009 I traveled to Guatemala to meet the board of directors of A.G.H. Trasciende, and provide council on program evaluation.
