Is er een behoefte aan vrijwilligers

To be considered as volunteer during the project, interested young people must be student or youth involved in environmental initiatives in the country and passionate about sustainable development. The priority will be given to students and mainly to those who are living in the University campus or are members of the University green clubs and groups. Other volunteers will be those recommended by the youth organizations of the country that are involved in partnership with Vital Actions for Sustainable Development in this project.

The volunteers must have good public speaking skills and strong knowledge on environmental issues like climate change, biodiversity, sustaining natural resources. Other skills like how to manage a volunteer’s team, how to work on a green campaign or how to repair a spoilt faucet or electric installation will be useful and a plus.

The recruited volunteers will work on the project to help to achieve our objectives through the preparation and organization of the press conference and launching ceremony, the advertisement of communication materials, installation of posters with educative messages in the student’s rooms, reparation of spoilt water and electric infrastructures in the rooms, organization as groups of the project’s contest through the mobilization around of students to participate, the collection and evaluation of the submissions, organization of the award ceremony after choosing the quality of the awards. They will be involved in the cultural events and sports competitions as organizers and main actors. They will also be the main project’s actors for the door by door sensitization and discussions focused on sustainable development and green economy inside the University campus, trees planting, creation of green spaces and also taking care of it. Everywhere and during the project activities, the volunteers will to be wearing with project’s T-shirts with educative messages. They see their transportation taking in charge and will benefit to the three trainings sessions on environmental education and sustainable development skills.

People can also contribute to the success of the campaign with elaboration of our two training packs, with consultancies and professional advices during the whole project process. We are also able to get some support coming from donation for the clean up materials (plastic bags...) and water and electricity materials (light...)
