Wonderland Integrated Primary and Secondary school: Wonderland primary school has 32 teachers + 5 support staff, Wonderland secondary 4 teachers + 2 support staff (2007). Goals of the schools are: 'Giving chances to children from Githurai 44, especially the poor and handicapped, by educating them in Primary and Secondary school and thereby giving them the opportunity to take care of their own needs' Ms. Nduta Frachier Kemahu
The two schools are situated in Githurai 44. Many CBO members are directly or indirectly involved in the school. The schools serve as a meeting place and starting point for activities. The teachers serve as a role model for the children and can support creating awareness and education on environmental issues. In 2006 Johanneke and Jan Willem met Ms. Nduta and her son Antony. Telling they wanted to live in Africa for a longer time they found out there is a need to work on a cleaner environment in Githurai. Johanneke’s teaching background and Jan Willem an environmental consultant, knowing Ms. Nduta as a trustworthy and hands-on person Johanneke and Jan Willem, decided to work towards setting up a waste management project.

Impulsis the Netherlands: Ms. Hilde de Groot. Impulsis is responsible for creating support in (Dutch) society for international cooperation. Foundations, schools, entrepreneurs and organisations active in development projects or who support local initiatives in the Southern Hemisphere can ask Impulsis for advice, expanding their network, expertise and financial support. Impulsis wants to build long term partnerships based on equality. They aim at letting people stand on their own legs in a sustainable way.

Protestant Congregation Middelburg and Home Front Committee (TFC), Netherland: Mr. Chris Lobbezoo (treasurer) and Ms. Irene Vrolijk (secretary). TFC exist of 8 persons. They both support the CBO in Kenya by mental support, communication and fund raising activities.

Both Impulsis and the Protestant Congregation Middelburg / TFC: have supported the CBO with funds and advice. For them to know that investment in trainings and support in writing a business plan and communications will take place will enhance their feeling the CBO is growing toward standing on its own feet and is taking steps to being financial independent.
