Pakistan faced history worst flood which destroyed the three Provinces of Pakistan. South Punjab is famous due to its fertile land, Mango Orchards, Cotton and Rice. The Flood effected the South Punjab mainly the ready crops were damaged and the reserved food, grains, cattle’s and other necessary things destroyed due to heavy flood in South Punjab. Lodhran (KOT PEER SAADAT) remained safe due to its height from River. Flood Effected Internally Displaced Persons came to Lodhran’s country side at KOT PEER SAADAT for temporary shelter. The number on Flood Effected Internally Displaced Persons IDPS’s were approximately more than 1000 including Man, Women’s, Children and Old age Persons.

A success story .
While distributing Food and Medicine to Flood Effected IDP’s at KOT PEER SAADAT a important Religious event of Eid for Muslims came so Earth Charter Members decided to get to gather new clothes, food and new shoes for kids of Flood Effected Internally Displaced Persons. While distributing all these gifts fresh Cloths ended. Agha Muhhamd Yousaf District Police Officer was distributing all these things when he heard that there is nothing to distribute this very moment became motivational force for him. He himself donated 1000 rupee to a Flood Effected Internally Displaced Kid to celebrate his Eid.
Current Scenario.
All Internally Displaced Persons have shifted to their Homes Town. The Internally Displaced Persons got Food and Free Medicine while their stay at KOT PEER SAADAT. This immediate help from 1 % CLUB Netherlands paved the way for Internally Displaced Persons to forget their past Episode. They shifted to their Home Towns when Punjab Government introduced “Watten Card” for the Flood Effected Community in South Punjab. The “Wattan Card” holder will get non refundable amount of 20,000 rupees from Govt Of Punjab and they will start a business or build their damaged houses.
