TACOA was established in 2007 as NGO registered under the NGOs Act No. 24/2002 (Vice President’s Office) with Registration Certificate No OONGO/1146. TACOA is manned by full-time counselling psychologists/therapists/ social scientists and highly competent and qualified trainers. TACOA is committed to oaring credible and efficient services to its clients. TACOA promotes an eclectic approach to counselling based on humanistic model of counseling and training. In all of its services great care is taken to respect and enhance the autonomy of clients. Vision To become a leading organisation that enables individuals, families and communities in Tanzania enjoying holistic mental health. Mission To empower the people of Tanzania to build and sustain mental healthy communities.
