Over mij / ons:	As a passionate and persistent epilepsy activist I coach the Movers from Youth on the Move in Nairobi in their empowerment of youth with epilepsy to live beyond their challenges! I also make use of my skills as a Health Systems Manager and unite stakeholders in epilepsy care and encourage them to involve youth with epilepsy as serious partners in the design and provision of their health services, to prevent youth with epilepsy to be isolated at home with their social and health struggles!!
Waarom 1%LID:	I believe that life is borderless, each boundary we meet is in the mind! Through this website we unite, make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks and offer opportunities for the ones who haven't been given the chance to develop their talents and get out of the shadows to become independent citizens and enjoy life!

I'm touched to see that the 24 hour action already raised all the money required within such a short time! We need to say thank you so much in the name of Dr. Ndege, the neurologist at KNH.. He's so grateful for the contribution Youth on the Move is able to give, to easen the burden of their work at the hospital. The hospital has an admission of patients of 300%. This means that patients sleep on top, but even under the bed and in the hall. THrough your donation we can support them to give epilepsy care in a shorter time, so that people have to wait less. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Also THANK YOU MOSES AND BARBRA for your tremendous contribution to be our trouble beaters at the KNH! Where would we be without you?!

Wat een lekker gevoel zal het zijn dat het lobbyen achter de rug is en gelukt, en de eerste bijeenkomst achter de rug is! Met de jongeren waar het om gaat. Geweldig!

Ha Henk, dat is absoluut waar, het is een mooi avontuur met de jongeren met epilepsie. Vol passie werken ze aan hun songs, en we wachten met ongeduld op de opnames!

Wat geweldig dat het bedrag binnen is! Vele malen dank, en we houden jullie graag op de hoogte! Epillose is al vele maanden aan het lobbyen bij het Ministerie van Jongeren om officieel weer toestemming te krijgen een song met de jongeren in Murang'a op te nemen. De toestemming is gegeven, nu gaat ze erachter aan dat de jongeren met epilepsie in dit dorpje bij elkaar getrommeld worden om aan de slag te gaan. We houden jullie op de hoogte! Nogmaals vele malen dank voor jullie bijdrage! Liefs, Karyn
