Over mij / ons:In 2000 I was for the first time in Bolgatanga in the north of Ghana. I lived in a Ghanaian host family and experienced Ghanaian life. Since then I keep going back to my Ghanaian hostfamily and friends. Last year I started my PhD on youth and sexuality in Ghana, to support the sexual health education for the youth. JPG is the European partnerorganization of Youth Harvest Foundation Ghana. Together we are aiming to improve the situation of young people in Northern Ghana in a sustainable way. Access to education and an enhanced support of young people, in particular girls and young women, is our central goal. I work for JPG as a volunteer (fundraising, coordination of research activities and selection and preparation of volunteers and students).

Hallo Jolien,
Welkom bij de vriendengroep van Stichting FACE for Children in Need en ons project voor keukenapparatuur in Obour Egypte in ons nieuw te openen weeshuis.

De deuren worden bijna geopend en ik hoop dat ik op je steun kan rekenen zodat het mogelijk is om 140 wezen en 40 personeelsleden een gezonde maaltijd te kunnen voorschotelen.
